Kiters questionnaire 🪁🌊

Yay, one more form!! Exciting, amirite?!

So there’s a good few of you that have expressed interest in Kitesurfing on the island. Here’s how this is going to work:

  • The kitesurfing beach is a 20’ drive from the hotel; we’ll have a van that will do trips back and forth from 10am to 6pm every day (27, 28, 29th of May).

  • You will only be able to kite…if there’s wind that day (suprise!) No wind, no kite.

  • Lessons will set you back 80e per hour (normally cost 110e).

  • If you’re just starting to learn, you’ll need one 2h session every day to make some progress and have fun. You can take sessions with a partner, but given we don’t have a lot of days, we’d recommend you go separately.

  • If you’re more experienced, you can rent equipment from the spot (PAROSKITE); you might need the 10h IKO badge to do that. Equipment rentals are much cheaper than guided sessions.

  • There’s rescue boats at the beach and the staff is very experienced, so while the danger of wipeouts is always there, it’s a relatively safe environment.

Disclaimer: you assume complete personal responsibility for discomfort, injuries etc during the various activities (including kite/wind-surfing) that you undertake during Unplug.

Now with the ugly disclaimer out the way, let’s have some fun!

Please note: if you’re not able to let us know by the end of this week, we’ll assume that you’re not interested. If you change your mind on the way to the island, we’ll to our bloody best to make it happen—just know that it might be busy and it’s possible that no slots will be avail.
